PPI Quarterly Data Report
The Permanency Practice Initiative (PPI) Quarterly Data Report is designed to capture the information necessary to measure model fidelity and effectiveness. By gathering PPI fidelity and outcome statistics, Phase I, Phase 2 and Phase 3 counties are able to measure progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-informed decisions concerning policies and practices.
Beginning in 2012, once a child is identified as a member of the county's PPI target population that identification should remain until dependency is terminated. If at a later date is it decided that dependency is necessary once again that child will continue to be identified as a member of the PPI target population and the permanency practice initiatives should continue to be provided. This change will allow for a comprehensive analysis to determine if the expected outcomes are achieved by the PPI population over time.
Also new for 2012, the Common Pleas Case Management System (CPCMS) has created a new PPI event track allowing counties to identity adjudicated dependent children that are in the county's PPI target population. In addition to the new event track, a new CPCMS 3942: PPI Data Measure Quarterly Report has been created to provide information regarding those children identified in CPCMS as on the PPI event track. The information found on the new CPCMS report will assist counties in the completion of the Permanency Practice Initiative (PPI) Quarterly Data Report.
For more information regarding the new CPCMS PPI event track as well as the new CPCMS 3942: PPI Data Measure Quarterly Report made available to assist counties in the preparation of the PPI Quarterly Data Report please refer to Dependency CPCMS User Update #dp01-12.
